- Measure the length and width of your existing rug in inches or feet.
- Add 2–4 inches on each side if you want the cover to have a slight overhang (recommended for a clean, tailored look).

- Rug cover should be large enough for the front legs of your sofa and chairs to sit on it.
- Ideal: 8' × 10' or 9' × 12' for most living rooms.
- Choose a size that extends at least 24–36 inches beyond the table on all sides so chairs can sit comfortably on the cover.
- Common: 8' × 10' or 9' × 12' for 6–8 person tables.
- King Bed: 9' × 12' or larger
- Queen Bed: 8' × 10'
- Place the rug/cover so it extends 12–18 inches beyond the sides and foot of the bed.
- Usually 5' × 7' or 6' × 9'
- Rug covers can be slightly larger than your existing rug — they are designed to drape naturally.
- If your rug is between two standard sizes, we generally recommend sizing up for a more luxurious look.
- Our rug covers are flexible and forgiving, but proper sizing creates the best visual result.
- All measurements are approximate. Slight variations (±1 inch) can occur due to the handmade nature of premium covers.
